Read books of all sorts, newspapers of all sorts, notices or advertisement papers of all kind, No matter what you get. What you see, Read it. After you read it make an idea of it in the mind in such a way that if someone asks you you need to tell it to them like you get it. Yes you should know what you read in such a way that you can tell it your 11 year old child. If a 11 year child asks you what you read you should know to tell him what you read.
Make the briefest idea of them in your mind. Connect it with what you already know.
Read it twice. Read it ten times at the time you have it. Slowly and slowly only. Repeat read it 8 times atleast if not 10. Do this exercise and see what difference it brings in you.
Find the genius people around you, people who are hailed as geniuses by other people. You try to learn what they tell, how they tell it, what words are they using to tell their idea. What way are their mannerisms, what words they use to convey their idea, how they address the others.(sreejith panicker)
Take notes and relearn it often by rereading it. After you write notes, read it 10 times often. Let me tell you This is a powerful exercise. you will know its power when you practise it.
Make notes in such a way that you dont need the book but only your notes
To learn a specific area of study, make a web search and find out from what three books would they recommend to read to know about the subject. Buy that books and read them. Make notes of it. By notes i mean in your language not for others to read but for you. Write it like you are writing something in your words to describe it and understand it in future, If you are reading it in future without the reference of the book you should not feeling there is something missing from the book to understand it.
No matter if you are reading newspaper or watching tv or surfing on the net, make notes in such a way that in the future you only need your notes to understand the things you read everytime.
90 days rule
To learn anything deep take atleast 90 days be 24 hours engaged with the idea by reading books on it, watching videos about it, reading comment boxes of videos about the topic. Comments are people speaking through text. This is great to know what people think and undertand their point of view. This will help to form or shape our point of view about things related to your subject. 24 hours and 7 days for 90 days to learn one thing.
Dont leave it after 90 days.Even if you leave it, top up knowledge in future when you come in contact with a book on the topic or a youtube video about that topic.
Try to Learn and Understand everything.
Learn to understand everything in the universe. This is the greatest trick to genius. period. If you know this you know what to do to become genius.
